Tickets & how you purchase them
You can buy and pick up tickets and festival passes to all shows at all our cinemas over the course of the whole festival. Your festival pass is to be shown at the door, together with your relevant film ticket, at each screening. The festival pass also gives you access to many concerts, seminars and exhibitions, along with free entry to the festival center and loads of other events. Quite simply: everything that makes the week a true festival. Entry to Göteborg Children’s Festival does not require a festival pass.
The ticket counters open half an hour before the day’s first screening at each respective cinema and close when the screening has begun. You can find more information about our cinemas and pre-purchase counters under Festival locations.
Tickets for the upcoming festival will be released for sale on January 10 for members and on January 12 for general audiences. Click here to become a member and secure tickets to our most popular movies ahead of everyone else.
In addition to film tickets all festival visitors need a festival pass (SEK 50) or a Silvermedlemskap (SEK 350) in order to watch films during the festival. When buying online, you will find the cart and quick-checkout at the bottom of the program page via the black list. You can also search for our films in the search field at the top of the page.
