Brwa Vahabpour is a Kurdish-Norwegian filmmaker from Trondheim with a bachelor’s degree in directing from The Norwegian Film School. He directed the award- winning short films Pomegranate, The Shepherd and Silence which have screened at festivals such as Short Shorts, Palm Springs, Aesthet- ica, Encounters and InterFilm Berlin. Vahabpour was episode director for the award-winning TV drama Countrymen, which premiered at Canneseries 2021, and is currently developing his first feature, Europa, which he will be pitching at the Discovery platform in the current edition of Göteborg Film Festival.
