Goran Kapetanovic is a director and screenwriter born in Sarajevo. His debut feature My Aunt in Sarajevo premiered at Göteborg Film Festival 2016 and won a Swedish Academy Award for Best directing. He is the director of TV-series Caliphate, which was nominated to the Nordisk Film & TV-fond Prize at Göteborg Film Festival 2020 and is now streaming globally on Netflix.
