Julia is educated in documentary filmmaking and screenwriting in Stockholm, and got her bachelors degree in film making at the Norwegian film school in 2016. Her graduation film Mamma won several prizes at European festivals and sold to the national broadcasters NRK and SVT. She currently completed the short film Daddy’s Girl. During 2019 she will continue developing two feature films and will direct one Swedish tv-series with the production company Yellowbird for Viaplay, and one Norwegian tv-series with the production company Anti TV for TV2. Julia loves fireworks, parking lots and the characters who chase the moments, who feel lager than life.
