Mette Damgaard-Sørensen is head of New Danish Screen, a low-budget scheme focusing on talent development and first features. She is responsible for the strategic direction of the scheme, where the visual development method “skitsen” has proofed significant worth. She is also the commission editor of the schemes fiction projects a.o. The Great Silence, Sons of Denmark, Superposition and The Guilty.  

She has been Principal at European Film College, editing commissioner for feature films at The Danish Film Institute, developing producer, writer and critic.
