Teresia Fant was born and raised in Vasa, Finland. She graduated with a bachelor in documentary directing from the Norwegian Filmschool in 2018. Earlier she studied fi lm at Stockholms Filmskola and sprictwriting at Manuspiloterna in Stockholm. At that time she became involved in the animal rights movement, and made the short documentary Empty Cages which premiered at Göteborg Film Festival in 2017. In 2019 she directed the youth drama Vakuum for Svt play & Yle arena. Now she is working on a short documentary fi nanced by the Norwegian fi lminstitute.
