Director
Yonfan is a Chinese director who has been working in Hong Kong since the early 1980’s. In 2011 he was honored with a retrospective at Busan Film Festival and hailed as “a living legend in Hong Kong independent cinema”. In 2019 Yonfan competed for the Golden Lion at Venice Film Festival with animated feature No. 7 Cherry Lane and was awarded for Best Screenplay. No. 7 Cherry Lane competed in International Competition at Göteborg Film Festival 2020.
