Morgane Dziurla-Petit, born in France, moved to Sweden in 2017 after studying fi lm in Paris and Cannes. She has made several acclaimed shorts that reside on the border between documentary and fi ction. Her second short fi lm, Excess Will Save Us, is nominated for a Guldbagge for best short fi lm. She is currently working on her debut feature, Gudars skymning, and on a documentary series which is set in the same universe as Excess Will Save Us. Her most recent short, Grab Them, is nominated to Startsladden – Best Swedish short at Göteborg Film Festival 2020.
