About TV Drama Vision

TV Drama Vision is our annual conference and market showcasing Nordic drama series with a global outlook. The programme presents the main drama series meeting point in the Nordics, featuring a future-facing programme, with a curated lineup of Nordic and European series and creative talents, the latest global business trends, and insights into the industry’s near future.

With speakers on stage and the audience consisting of broadcasters, producers, financiers, writers, sales companies and other parts of the TV drama industry, the seminar is a key event to meet the key Nordic and international TV drama professionals.

In 2024, TV Drama Vision is relocating to the new venue, Draken, starting with the upcoming edition. The iconic 700-seated cinema combined with great meeting areas at the connected Clarion Hotel Draken, will comprise the framework for TV Drama Vision 2024. The conference programme will comprise a mix of talks, panels, co-production pitches and series showcases with the beautiful cinema Draken as the main stage, with an additional wall-to-wall stage Drama Hall for in-depth sessions.

Some of the keynote speakers and guests that have been on stage through the years are Luca Guadagnino (director of Call Me By Your Name), Andy Harries (chief executive of Left Bank Pictures), Sally Wainwright (creator of Happy Valley and Last Tango in Halifax), Tony Grisoni (creator of Red Riding and Southcliffe), Guy Bisson (Ampere Analysis), Anne Kolbjørnsen (producer of Lilyhammer), Yael Hedaya (writer of the original In Treatment), Jon Plowman (producer behind Absolutely Fabolous, The Office, Little Britain), Greg Poehler (creator of Welcome to Sweden), Henrik Björn (creator of Jordskott), Carole Scotta and Caroline Benjo (Haut et Court), David Madden (president of Fox Television Studios), Susanne Bier (Golden Globe Award and Emmy Award-winning writer and director) and Armando Iannucci (creator of Veep).
