No fewer than six films supported by Moving Sweden have their world premieres during this year’s Göteborg Film Festival. Moving Sweden has invited four cinematic experts to reflect on these new films, and to show clips from them that highlight creative elements that are of particular interest to them. The filmmakers then join the experts on stage for an in-depth discussion about the artistic choices in the selected scenes. Moving Sweden is a micro-budget scheme intended to give both new and experienced filmmakers a chance to challenge their creativity and explore new formats. The scheme supports films of various lengths, as well as short series. Since May 2018, Moving Sweden has stepped into working with features, with a focus on first- and second-time filmmakers with proven personal voices. Supported projects will be aired on SVT
Moving Sweden is a co-operation between the Swedish Film Institute and Swedish Television (SVT).
