Nisan is a graduate of Columbia University’s MFA Film Program. Her feature films Across the Sea and When I’m done Dying won awards from top festivals worldwide, with support from institutions such as Eurimages and Berlinale. Nisan directed for the Netflix series Midnight at the Pera Palace and also for The Turkish Detective, produced by Miramax and Paramount.
