In Paradise

After her professional footballer husband ruins his marriage and his business and disappears into a burnout-hospital, Pia and her four children lose their wealth and social status and end up in Paradise, a dreary social housing complex. Left behind in emotional chaos and with a mountain of depth, the family has to start a new life in paradise. Unlike Pia, the children soon settle in among the stranded and artists of life. Pia tries to get her old life back with biting remarks, an indomitable will and a lot of heart, while at the same time more or less successfully looking after her children, fighting against the acute lack of money and learning to emancipate herself between a large Lebanese family, an angel contact, his conspiracy theory brother, the permanently unemployed expert of life and a cryptic bicycle courier.
