Dragon Award Best Nordic Film

Every year 8 Nordic films are nominated to Göteborg Film Festival's Dragon Award Best Nordic Film. Volvo Car Group is the presenting partner of the award which is accompanied by a cash prize of SEK 400,000. Since 1989, Nordic Competition has been Göteborg Film Festival’s most prestigious competition. Here, new Nordic films with powerful stories, engaging subjects and fascinating footage are presented. The winner is awarded Dragon Award Best Nordic Film and the winner’s prize is 400,000 Swedish crowns. Susanne Bier, Tomas Alfredson, Dagur Kári, Amanda Kernell, Malou Reymann and Gabriela Pichler are some of the filmmakers that have been given the prize. Presenting partners:
