Göteborg Film Festival is the largest film festival in the Nordic region and a powerful platform for brands looking to reach an engaged, culturally interested, and high-spending audience. For eleven days in late January and early February, Gothenburg transforms into a vibrant meeting place where film screenings, talks, workshops, concerts, and events bring together visitors from across Sweden and the world. Around 250 films from over 80 countries are screened, making the festival a global showcase, ideal for companies aiming to strengthen their brand in an international context.
With approximately 270,000 visits from 42,000 unique participants, both on-site in Gothenburg and via our digital platform, the festival offers a powerful reach. Thanks to both physical and digital screenings, companies can connect broadly, from cinema halls to living rooms across Sweden.
There are also opportunities for visibility during Prisma Film Festival, the festival for young film lovers. Prisma 2025 takes place October 22–27, during the autumn school break. The festival is aimed at children and youth aged 0–15 and their parents. The program features premieres of major family films, exciting international children’s films, cozy pajama screenings, and exciting Friday night screenings.
