MOIN Film Fund Hamburg Schleswig-Holstein Delegation

Hello, Hej and MOIN! We are Moving Images North.

MOIN Film Fund Hamburg Schleswig-Holstein supports cinema, high-end series, and innovative audiovisual projects – from the first spark of an idea to production, distribution, and festival premieres. With €22 million annually, MOIN strengthens Northern Germany’s creative landscape and invites filmmakers from the Nordics to discover our vibrant cities, wide horizons, and the cinematic beauty of the North and Baltic Seas. A recent highlight: AMRUM (2025), shot in Denmark and Schleswig-Holstein.

This year, we are taking the northern spirit even further with the debut of Nordic NEST. At the Göteborg Film Festival, ten pre-selected screenwriters will meet 20 producers from Germany and the Nordic countries in a matchmaking event. German-Nordic teams can receive up to €20,000 for a treatment and three projects will get additional script funding of up to €60,000. Applications are now closed, and selections are underway.
