Industry Center  


Clarion Hotel Draken is the centre of Göteborg Film Festival. Built atop the iconic main cinema of the film festival, Hotel Draken features 474 cinema-themed rooms, grea t meeting venues, and exceptional restaurants including a breathtaking rooftop bar that serves up sweeping panoramic views of Göteborg.

Hotel Draken hosts various festival events in its Living Room and Library, including the festival opening party, Studio Draken, and DJs.

Hotel Draken is also the Industry Center that serves as the central location to meet and connect with the industry attending TV Drama Vision, Nordic Film Market and the festival.

Construction Around Hotel Draken

This year, construction is taking place in front of Hotel Draken and around Järntorget. The hotel remains accessible from both the front and the back entrances. We recommend following the signs for easy access.

For TV Drama Vision, an additional entrance will be available at Cinema Draken, located on the side of the building.

Accreditation pick-up at Industry Desk


Accredited attendees can pick-up accreditations, including TV Drama Vision and Nordic Film Market and meet out helpful staff at the Industry Desk located in the lobby of the Hotel Draken.

Industry Online


All accredited have access to our exclusive industry space on our website. There you will find the delegates lists, dynamic Who’s Here and stream online content.

Accredited can log in with the email that their applied for an accreditation. If you have forgotten your password, you can reset it at the log in.

Updating your profile/personal information
You are able to update your profile and information in the delegates list on the website. After you have logged in, go to "MY PAGE" to update your profile. It takes a few minutes to update your information.

Industry Online is open until January 9, 2025.

Watching Films


Festival Screenings

All accredited get access to the festival's film programme, granting you the opportunity to watch films in cinemas every day, if there are available seats.

Book Film Tickets Online in 2025

In 2025, attendees with Industry PRO, VIP, TV Drama Vision, Nordic Film Market and Press accreditations can book tickets online for the public screenings taking place the same day or the next. Tickets are available starting at midnight for screenings scheduled for the following day and the day after.

Each accredited is eligible to up to four tickets per day. Tickets are limited and can be booked on a first-come, first-served basis, and included in your accreditation.

Göteborg Film Festival Online

Accredited delegates who reside in Sweden have access to the Göteborg Film Festival Online programme from January 24 through February 2. Films are available for 24 hours after they premiere online. All accredited residing in Sweden will receive instructions how to access the online programme closer to the festival.

Festival Scope Pro

Festival Scope Pro (pro.festivalscope.com) is an online streaming platform for film professionals that is dedicated to showing and promoting independent cinema from more than 120 prestigious festivals like the Göteborg Film Festival. Discover the latest films from the festival circuit right after the premiere by becoming a member today.

Bag Restrictions at the Cinema

Baggage restrictions apply to all cinemas during the Göteborg Film Festival. Guests may bring small bags that fit under a seat or on your lap during screenings; larger bags are not permitted for security reasons. There are no lockers available from the festival, but nearby storage facilities are recommended. Bag checks may occur.

Hotel Draken Industry Networking
From January 24 to February 2, Hotel Draken provides space for meetings, networking, or simply unwinding in the lobby. Guests can enjoy dining at Heurlins Restaurant or experience the breathtaking views from Brasserie Draken, the rooftop restaurant. The Living Room Bar also offers a selection of drinks, coffee, and snacks.

Biopalatset is the primary venue for the Nordic Film Market and several festival screenings. It’s located in the very centre of the city, where you'll find numerous cafes and restaurants in the surrounding area.

Special Drink-Deal in Selected Bars

All accredited guests enjoy special drink-deal at Skanshof and Kafé Magasinet. Show your accreditation at the bar to receive discounted prices on beer and wine. Plus, enjoy a free entry to Lounge(s) (Thursday– Saturday) and Yaki-Da (Wednesday, Friday–Saturday).

Travel Göteborg


Train
There are several fast trains daily (e.g. SJ) from most cities in Sweden and Norway, as well as good connections from the capital cities in the rest of Europe. 

Bus
Vy bus offers bus transportation on a number of destinations in Sweden, Norway and Denmark. 

Ferry
Stena Line will take you to Sweden and Göteborg from Denmark, Germany, Poland and Latvia. 

Flight
Göteborg Landvetter Airport has good connections all over the world. The trip with airport shuttle buses between the airport and city centre takes about 20 minutes. Find tickets and schedule here.

Public Transport
Göteborg has an excellent public transport system. Trams and busses will take you smoothly and quickly to the festival. The nearest stop near Hotel Draken is called Järntorget. Find connections here.
