In Berlin, Ava (30) and her boyfriend Jimmy (31) plan to build a future by taking over his mother Marlene’s (65) apartment when she moves away. But Marlene refuses to leave, tightening her control over their lives. Ava struggles to assert herself in the face of Marlene’s dominance. Caught between partner and mother, Jimmy drifts, forcing Ava to choose between love or reclaiming her independence.
