As the leading marketplace in the region, Göteborg Film Festival’s Nordic Film Market offers a curated selection of new and upcoming Nordic films and talents. This year, we are thrilled to welcome 600+ market delegates, including buyers, distributors, sales agents, producers, festival programmers, fund representatives, and other key delegates, from 35 countries to Göteborg.

This year’s main market line-up featured 19 completed Nordic market screenings, 19 Works in Progress, and 16 films in development presented through the market’s co-production platform, Discovery, alongside 6 high-potential international titles showcased in the Nordic Gateway. The programme also intersected with the TV Drama Vision conference programme, on Wednesday afternoon, January 28

In 2026, Hotel Draken was the central hub of the Nordic Film Market, hosting a broad programme of talks, case studies, film school pitches, and more.

Discovery Co-Production Platform

16 Nordic films in development will be presented at Discovery 2026. Discovery is Nordic Film Market’s platform for promoting feature films in development, facilitating opportunities to discover new Nordic talents and for the projects to connect with co-production and financing partners.

Nordic Gateway

Nordic Gateway is our new section connecting international feature films with Nordic partners. Highlighting six high-potential projects from renowned creators and production companies, the initiative sparks opportunities for co-production and financing.

Nordic Market Screenings

17 new Nordic feature fiction and two documentary films will be presented as market screenings at this year’s market.
