Johanna (38) is heading off on a well-deserved vacation with her family. A visit to a nearby murder site leaves her drawn to a marsh, where relentless mosquitoes seem to awaken something within her. As their bites take hold, her selfish instincts emerge, driving a disturbing transformation. Nature's forces turn Johanna into a mother willing to go to extremes to fulfil her own desires.
