Every year, around 250 volunteers help make the festival possible. As a volunteer, you’ll become part of the festival team and experience the festival from the inside, while helping us welcome audiences, guests and film industry professionals to Gothenburg.

There are many different roles, from cinema and audience hosts to festival photographers, guest hosts, runners and roles at our industry events. All volunteers must be at least 18 years old and able to work a minimum of 40 hours during the festival.

Göteborg Film Festival 2027 takes place from January 29 to February 7.
