Call for Nordic Series Awards 2026
Nordisk Film & TV Fond and Göteborg Film Festival invite Nordic broadcasters and streamers to submit series to the Nordic Series Awards 2026. The call is now open for Nordic Series Script Award and the Creative Courage Award.
Nordic Series Script Award recognises outstanding screenwriting in Nordic drama. Presented annually at Göteborg’s TV Drama Vision, it carries forward the legacy of its predecessor, the Nordisk Film & TV Fond Prize. The prestigious award of NOK 200,000 (€17,000) is financed by Nordisk Film & TV Fond, and given to the main writer(s) of a Nordic drama series that premiered during the previous year.
The Creative Courage Award, introduced in 2025, honours the producer(s) and the commissioner(s) of a series that exemplifies bold, innovative, and risk-taking approaches in Nordic drama series. This honorary award celebrates individuals and companies who embrace brave producing and commissioning, thus pioneering new directions in storytelling.
The submissions open today, inviting broadcasters and streamers to submit their top series for consideration.
The deadline is on November 13, 2025.
