Germany in Focus at Nordic Film Market and TV Drama Vision 2026
Today, October 14, Germany was announced as the Official Country in Focus at the upcoming Nordic Film Market and TV Drama Vision, presented within Göteborg Film Festival Industry. The spotlight will bring a vibrant lineup of German producers, funds, and key decision-makers to Göteborg, set to spark new connections and deepen collaboration between the Nordic and German audiovisual ecosystems.
In Focus:Germany is developed in partnership with German Films and leading funds in Germany, including:
- Filmförderungsanstalt FFA – German Federal Film Board
- FilmFernsehFonds Bayern (FFF Bayern)
- Film- und Medienstiftung NRW
- Hessen Film & Medien
- Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg
- Mitteldeutsche Medienförderung (MDM)
- MOIN Film Fund Hamburg Schleswig-Holstein
- nordmedia – Film- und Mediengesellschaft Niedersachsen/Bremen
Together, these partners will showcase the breadth of German talent and funding opportunities while creating new possibilities for co-production and collaboration between the regions. As part of the focus, an extensive German delegation will travel to Göteborg, with producers, funds, projects, and talents highlighted throughout the programme.

As the key industry hub in the region, the festival attracts more than 2,400 accredited delegates from over 50 countries. The Nordic Film Market (January 28–30, 2026) spotlights outstanding new Nordic films and talents, offering high-level business-to-business opportunities and networking. TV Drama Vision (January 27–28, 2026), dedicated to drama series, brings together international business trends, creative talent, and key professionals.
The 49th Göteborg Film Festival will take place January 23 – February 1, 2026.
