Explore the Programme for the 49th Göteborg Film Festival
We are excited to release the prorgramme for Göteborg Film Festival 2026! The 49th edition of the largest film festival in the Nordics once again unfolds in cinemas around Göteborg as well as in the festival’s online screening room on Draken, that is available to audiences throughout Sweden.
Previously, we have revealed this year’s theme, Focus: Truth, the nominees for the short film competition Startsladden, the films competing in the Ingmar Bergman Competition, the Nordic Honorary Guest Noomi Rapace, and the International Honorary Guest Agnieszka Holland.
This year’s edition features 266 films from 76 countries. Tickets go on sale on January 9 at 12:00 PM for festival members and on January 10 at 12:00 PM for the general public.
