Kristina Colliander appointed new CEO of Göteborg Film Festival

Kristina Colliander will become the new CEO of Göteborg Film Festival, joining from her role as CEO of Film Stockholm. She will take up the position in early autumn.

Kristina Colliander has more than 20 years of experience in senior roles within film, media and culture. Since 2021, she has been CEO of Film Stockholm, where she has been responsible for strengthening film production and developing international collaborations. Prior to that, she was Head of Film Funding at the Swedish Film Institute, overseeing extensive support schemes for Swedish film, and previously Head of Production Funding, responsible for the development and financing of new film projects.

Colliander has also served as Head of Programming at SVT, with responsibility for children’s and youth content, where she led development and production during a period of major transformation in the media landscape. In addition to her operational roles, she has held several positions within key industry organisation.

Kristina Colliander will take up the position as CEO in early autumn. Pia Lundberg, Artistic Director of Göteborg Film Festival, will serve as Acting CEO until then.
