The Festival for Young Film Enthusiasts!

Göteborg Film Festival Prisma is the festival for young film lovers. It is a long-term initiative aimed at bringing valuable films from around the world to young audiences, encouraging them to visit the cinema, and inspiring their own filmmaking. It’s also a fun event and a complete experience with various formats, guests, and activities.

Prisma showcases films that would otherwise never reach an audience in Sweden and lowers barriers for viewers by offering free film workshops in animation, screenwriting, and acting, where experienced film educators inspire young participants to develop their own filmmaking skills. The festival welcomes directors, writers, and actors who engage with audiences in discussions, workshops, and at screenings.

At Nordstan, the pop-up cinema Bio Nordstan screens free films, while Hagabion hosts activities and a range of film workshops.

All films without Swedish dialogue are subtitled in Swedish. Several films offer audio descriptions, and subtitles can also be read via headphones.
