Works in Progress

Approximately Nordic films in post-production are showcased annually at the Nordic Film Market. The session includes on-stage presentations by the creators and producers, accompanied by screenings of 2–4 clips from each project. In 2025, the Works in Progress presentations will take place on Thursday, January 30, and Friday, January 31 at Biopalatset during the Nordic Film Market.

Over the years, several high-profile Nordic projects have been highlighted at the Nordic Film Market. These include Another Round / Druk (Thomas Vinterberg), Armand (Halfan Tondel Ullman), A White, White Day / Hvítur, hvítur dagur (Hlynur Pálmason), Clara Sola (Nathalie Álvarez Mesén), Flee (Jonas Poher Rasmussen), Sex Dreams,Love / Sex, Drømmer og Kjærlighet (Dag Johan Haugerud), The Girl With The Needle (Magnus von Horn), and When the Lights Breaks (Runar Runarsson).

Access to the Works in Progress presentations is exclusive to market-accredited professionals, with priority given to buyers, distributors, festival programmers, and sales agents.
