Agnes isn’t doing too badly, all things considered. She has a steady supply of amphetamines, lives idyllically in the woods with her buddy Hansi, and supplement their welfare benefits by selling moonshine like true entrepreneurs. Then an unexpected hospital visit brings life-altering news. Agnes decides she must go on the straight and narrow in the hopes to reunite with her daughter. AGNES AGAINST THE WORLD is a warm, gritty, and sometimes funny love letter to Oslo’s unseen edges.
