In the so-called Norwegian village on the Canary Island—an overcrowded party destination overrun by Scandinavian tourists and holiday-home buyers—local woman Frida (30) struggles to give her teenage daughter a normal upbringing. When rising rents during high season force them onto the streets, Frida is too focused on securing a roof over their heads to notice her daughter being lured into the island's relentless party scene. As the island heats up, the techno music intensifies, and the island’s volcano awakens, Frida suddenly realizes everything she loves is on the brink of destruction—and must defy her own principles to save it in time.
