Nordic Series Script Award Nominees Unveiled
Five Nordic drama series are announced for the NOK 200,000 (€17,000) Nordic Series Script Award 2026, celebrating outstanding screenwriting in Nordic drama. The award is presented by Nordisk Film & TV Fond.

The Nordic Series Awards includes the Nordic Series Script Award, succeeding the Nordisk Film & TV Fond Prize, and recognises the main writer(s) of a Nordic drama series that premiered in the previous year. Five drama series from Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden have been nominated for the prize, which will be awarded to the main writer(s).
The series nominated for the Nordic Series Script Award: Secrets We Keep (Denmark, nominated writer Ingeborg Topsøe), Queen of Fucking Everything (Finland, nominated writer Tiina Lymi), Vigdis (Iceland, nominated writers Ágústa M. Ólafsdóttir and Björg Magnúsdóttir), A Better Man (Norway, nominated writer Thomas Seeberg Torjussen), My Brother (Sweden, nominated writer Karin Arrhenius).

Additionally, the Creative Courage Award, honors the producer(s) and commissioner(s) of a Nordic series that exemplifies bold, innovative, and risk-taking approaches.
The winners of the Nordic Series Awards will be announced at an award ceremony at TV Drama Vision on January 27, 2026.
The 2025 Nordic Series Script Award winner was Pelle Rådström for the Swedish drama Pressure Point.
