Director
Isabella Eklöf made her directorial debut with the controversial film Holiday (2018), which competed for the festival’s Dragon Award for Best Nordic Film. Eklöf is a graduate of the Danish Film School and has primarily worked in Denmark since 2007, where she has directed a handful of short films. She has also published short stories and poetry in Swedish. In 2024, she returned to the festival, competing with her second feature film, the powerful drama Kalak.
