TV Drama Vision 2026 Programme Unveiled
We are thrilled to reveal the full programme for the 20th edition of TV Drama Vision! With 800 delegates from across Europe and beyond, this landmark edition is designed to inspire, challenge and connect!
Under the theme One Transformation After Another, the programme tackles an industry where reality moves faster than fiction, as shrinking budgets, multiplying formats, shifting audiences and the growing impact of AI reshape how content is developed and produced.
Key highlights of this year’s is acclaimed German showrunner Katharina Eyssen, the creative force behind the Netflix success The Empress, and In Focus: Germany, that brings more than 60 German producers and funding representatives to Göteborg.
Newly announced sessions include Cross-Border Chemistry: Co-Producing Between Germany and the Nordics, Rethinking the Audience, Rethinking IPs & Formats: A Fluid Future, The European Blueprint, and New8 – The Next Chapter – all addressing the need for more agile, resilient approaches to storytelling, collaboration and production in a rapidly changing industry.

Created in 2023 to co-produce high-end, cross-border series, New8 returns to our stage to reflect on its first years—and share what it’s looking for next.

Rethinking The Audience
Audiences no longer experience content on a single platform. Stories now move across cinema, streaming, YouTube, and live experiences, reshaping how audiences discover, engage with, and value content. This panel explores how audiovisual formats are adapting to this fragmented landscape through case studies.

The In Focus: Germany brings over 60 German producers and funding representatives to Göteborg, with dedicated sessions on funding and co-production between Germany and the Nordics.

Nordic–German co-productions have long thrived in high-end drama. As financing and collaboration models evolve, this panel explores how to co-develop authentic stories and what the future holds for cross-border partnerships—without compromising creative integrity.
