The submissions to the 48th Göteborg Film Festival are now closed.

For information about submitting to Göteborg Film Festival, please check out our Terms & Conditions and Frequently Asked Questions. The program committee’s decision of accepted/not accepted will be announced to all applicants in mid-December, 2024 or earlier.

The winner of Startsladden and Nordic Documentary Competition will, starting in 2025, also qualify for an Oscar nomination, as the competitions now are recognized by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

Göteborg Film Festival is the leading film festival in Scandinavia and presents its 48th edition on January 24 to February 2, 2025.
