Film education projects
Göteborg Film Festival Campus is the festival’s film education initiative. Currently, we have eight experienced film educators who carry out both large and small educational projects across Västra Götaland. Film education is a way to spark interest in film and expand knowledge about the medium to a broader audience.
Gymnasiedagen at Göteborg Film Festival 2027
Together with Filmstaden, Göteborg Film Festival creates an unforgettable festival morning at Biopalatset, filled with film, conversation, and genuine festival and cinema atmosphere. Students get to meet filmmakers, experience both short and feature films on the big screen, and of course enjoy popcorn and drinks.

Alicia Vikander Film Lab continues with support from the MOE Foundation To inspire young people toward a future in the film industry, Alicia Vikander and Göteborg Film Festival launched the joint project Alicia Vikander Film Lab. The purpose of the project is to give young people tools to express themselves through moving images, spark dreams and hope for the future, and help increase diversity within the film industry.
