With his authentic and disturbing documentary style, Ulrich Seidl constantly urges examine ourselves. During Göteborg Film Festival 2017, he held a Master Class where he discussed is filmmaking.
“I make films about the things we don’t always want to see. But it’s important for us to look at our own lives in the mirror.”
He visited the festival along with the release of his Paradise triology (Love, Faith and Hope). With which the Austrian director received a nomination to Gold Palm in Cannes.
