The Irish filmmaker, film historian, film enthusiast and Sweden-lover Mark Cousins visited the festival in 2019. He broke through with The Story of Film and has since then praised the city of Stockholm in Stockholm, My Love, and highlighted female filmmakers in the colossal odyssey Women Make Film: A New Road Movie through Cinema. His works The Eyes of Orson Welles and Storm in My Heart was shown on Göteborg Film Festival 2019, when he also held a Master Class.
