We follow the rise and fall of a Belgian Gendarme Unit spearheaded by an American CIA agent. They’re supposed to catch drug dealers, but turn into criminals themselves. Jan Laureys is a gendarme who doesn’t want to be one. He has a history of drug abuse, which is why the American recruits him in the first place.
