The British Director Dominic Cooke visited Göteborg Film Festival 2018 to present his film On Chesil Beach. Together with the writer Ian McEwan he attended the festival premiere of the film.
His impressive debut is a heartbreaking, beautiful, warm and sad film about how lost words, misunderstandings and the choice to remain quiet about something important can change an entire life. But it is equally about what once seemed so important turned out to meant nothing.
