Sofa Digital’s founder & CEO, Fabio Lima is a Brazilian Mediatech entrepreneur focused on streaming and digital content distribution. In 2003, he co-founded Rain Networks, the first network of digital cinema dedicated to independent theaters in the world. Aware of the international trends, by 2008 his focus broadened to include on-demand film distribution and live broadcasting of alternative content in cinemas, such as shows, sporting events and operas. Sofa Digital Media, founded in 2013, is the leading VOD Aggregator in Latin America, distributing to all major global and local platforms across TVOD, SVOD and AVOD.
The company is an Apple Preferred Encoding House since 2016 with a 100% automated workflow with the capability to deliver to all platforms. It also provides marketing services through its consumer free recommendation tool Filmelier.com and financing services to distributors and producers, through the Bluemoon Fund.
Sofa Digital is headquartered in Sao Paulo with offices in Miami and Mexico city.
Fabio Lima is graduated in Media by the Universidade Metodista de Sao Paulo.
