The Polish director and scriptwriter Krzysztof Kieślowski should be viewed as one of Europe’s most influential filmmakers through the ages. His films are studied at film schools across the world, and cinephiles worth the name have seen his films.
His most well-known works include The Decalogue, the Three Colors trilogy and The Double Life of Veronique (1991 ).
