Isabella Carbonell is a director and screenwriter from Stockholm. She’s behind short films such as Boys that screened in Cannes, SXSW and won the Grand Jury Award at AFI FEST, and Yustina’s Revenge, co-produced by SVT/Film i Väst. She’s currently finishing the Moving Sweden feature Dogborn that was recently part of the WIP program at Les Arcs Film Festival. Her next feature explores a utopia where survivors of abuse reclaim power through the universe
of virtual reality.
