British director and actor Billie Piper (known as pop star in the 90’s and later as an actor in, among others, Penny Dreadful, Doctor Who and A callgirls diary) came to the festival in 2020 with her directorial debut Rare Beasts, which was celebrated at the Venice Film Festival.
