Director
Karim Aïnouz, Brazilian director, visited the festival in 2020 with his film The Invisible Life of Eurídice Gusmão. The film was selected as the Brazilian entry for the Best International Feature Film at the 92nd Academy Awards and was screened in the Un Certain Regard section at the 2019 Cannes Film Festival, where it won the top prize.
