Creator-writer-director Matti Kinnunen (b.1966) has during his long career written and directed many successful TV drama series in Finland. Matti’s original series Cargo for YLE (produced by Fremantle Finland) was competing for both Prix Europa and the Nordisk Film & TV Fond Prize, Best Screenplay of a Nordic drama series in 2021.
