Sevgi Eker is a Finnish-Turkish film director and writer. Sevgi’s films have been shown and awarded at festivals such as Clermont-Ferrand, Slamdance, Tampere (The Golden Shade Award), Vienna Shorts and the Norwegian International Film Festival Haugesund (Next Nordic Generation award). Sevgi’s feature films are in development at Helsinki-filmi. Room 511 was selected for Women in Film and Television Finland’s In Focus incubator, while 7 P.M. On a Sunday was selected for International Film Festival Rotterdam’s CineMart 2023. 7 P.M. On a Sunday is Sevgi’s debut feature.
