Nostradamus keynote: Healthy Work in a Sustainable Industry

Unprecedented demand for content offers enormous artistic and business opportunities – but also places unprecedented pressures on producers, talent, crews, and other humans across the industry. Alarming risks to physical safety and mental health have been documented across the industry. As staff shortages make a sustainable work environment not just an ethical issue but a business necessity, how do we start making a change?
Presented by Johanna Koljonen, Media Analyst.

New ways for creative producers

With this panel, we want to explore different ways of being a creative producer and address the last year’s significant changes in industry accelerated by the pandemic and how it has reshaped the conditions for producing.

Panelists: Gudny Hummelvoll (Producer Hummelfilm/Yellow Bird Norge, President of EPC), Gábor Krigler (Creative Producer, Joyrider), Josefine Tengblad (Producer and Co-founder, Nordic Drama Queens) and Nicklas Wikström Nicastro (Producer and Founder of Strive Stories). In collaboration with European Producers Club (EPC).
Moderated by Marike Muselaers.

Future-proofing the Industry

With an ever-increasing production rate in the golden era of drama series, the need for finding a common ground, new solutions and collaboration throughout the value chain, is more evident than ever before. How can we create value together in a sustainable way and safeguard talent for the future while our business models are constantly changing?

Panelists: Kjartan Thor Thordarsson – CEO Sagafilm, Filippa Wallestam – EVP and Chief Content Officer Nent Group, Martina Österling – Agent and Partner Albatros Agency and Rikke Ennis – CEO, Reinvent. Moderated by Marike Muselaers.

TV Drama Vision Masterclass: Luca Guagagnino

We are proud to present award winning Italian director, producer and screenwriter Luca Guadagnino as our Creative Guest at TV Drama Vision 2022!

As one of Europe’s foremost auteurs, Luca is known for his personal, emotional and intimate films. His first breakthrough on the international film scene was in 2006 with the film I Am Love, starring Tilda Swinton. Since then, he has directed films such as A Bigger Splash, Suspiria and Love in Italian. In 2017, Luca Guadagnino released his masterpiece Call Me by Your Name; a love story between the teenage boy Eliot and the American student Oliver. The film takes place in northern Italy in the early 1980s and has been highly acclaimed.
