Vice President of Nordic Content at Netflix
Jenny Stjernströmer Björk has spent 10+ years in the film industry working with development, rights acquisitions, and building strategic partnerships throughout the Nordic region.
With a background within publishing, she commenced her career in the film industry by identifying books to adapt into films, one example being A Man Called Ove. She quickly moved on to the production company Tre Vänner as Head of development – and in 2014 she joined SF Studios to head up the acquisition team. During her first years at the company, new partnerships launched internationally with Studio Canal and STX and in the Nordics with FLX, Sweetwater, Meta film, Miso film, Helsinki Filmi and Yellow film and TV among others.
Between 2016 and 2021 Jenny operated as Chief Content Officer at SF Studios and worked across divisions to build the best lineup of productions in the Nordics, such as The Cake General (Nexiko), The Sunny Side (FLX), The Unthinkable (Crazy pictures) and Burn All My Letters (SF Studios), Margrete (SF Studios) and The Emigrants (SF Studios).
Today Jenny heads up the Nordic Content team at Netflix in the Nordics.
