Lena Endre, actress, Sweden (jury president)
Lena Endre is one of Sweden’s most acclaimed actresses . She has starred in films such as The Best Intentions and Jerusalem and had a long cooperation with Ingmar Bergman, both in film as In the Presence of a Clown and stage productions at the Royal Dramatic Theatre. She is a recurring guest at Göteborg Film Festival, most recently present with My Father Marianne, for which she was awarded her third Guldbagge Award.
Ramata-Toulaye Sy, director Senegal
Ramata-Toulaye Sy is a French-Senegalese film director and screenwriter. She was a cowriter of internatinal hit Sibel and her first film as a director was short film Astel, which won awards in borsht Toronto and Clermont-Ferrand. Her feature debut, Banel & Adama, premiered in Cannes Competition to great reviews, have been celebrated at festivals all over the world since, and is now screening at the festival.
William Spetz, actor, Sweden
William Spetz is a Swedish actor and scriptwriter. He has played in series Quicksand and Filip and Mona, made Sweden weep with autobiographical show ”Grandma, I know you’re up in heaven, but do you have a minute?”. He last attended Göteborg Film Festival in 2022, with closing film Day by Day. Right now he is in Netflix series Tore, that he both has written an is doing the main part.
Tonia Noyabrova, director, Ukraine
Tonia Noyabrova is a screenwriter and director from Ukraine. She won the award for Best Ukrainian Director at the Odesa International Film Festival in 2018, for her debut Hero of My Time. Tonia was one of four Ukrainian filmmakers who in 2022 received artistic residency in Göteborg by GFF. During her stay she was working with the coming of age drama Do You Love Me?, that premiered in Berlinale last year and is now playing in Göteborg Film Festival.
Anna Novion, director, France
Anna Notion is a French filmmaker behind films and series as Grown ups and international thriller hit The Bureau. For her film Rendez-vous in Kiruna she won the Golden Pyramid in Cairo International Film Festival. Her latest film, Marguerite’s Theorem, premiered in Cannes and is now screening at Göteborg Film Festival.
Anna Hints är en estländsk regissör, kompositör och manusförfattare. I år är hon aktuell med Smoke Sauna Sisterhood, dokumentären om en anrik estnisk basturitual som blivit flerfaldigt prisbelönt.
Theresa Traore Dahlberg är en svensk konstnär och dokumentärfilmare. Hon har bland annat studerat experimentell 16mm-film på The New School i New York och gått dokumentärfilm- och radioutbildningen på Stockholms dramatiska högskola. Traore Dahlberg var festivalkonstnär för festivalen 2023.
Tobias Janson är en svensk producent på produktionsbolaget Story. Bland annat har han producerat många dokumentärfilmer som visats på Göteborg Film Festival.
Levan Akin är en svensk regissör med georgiska rötter. Han fick sitt internationella genombrott med And Then We Danced, som valdes till Sveriges Oscarsbidrag och vann bästa film, manus, foto och manlig huvudroll på Guldbaggen.
Chrisitina Jardim Ribeiro är verksamhetschef Bergmancentret på Fårö, som har som mål att förvalta och utveckla arvet efter Ingmar Bergman och arrangerar den årliga Bergmanveckan.
Elene Naveriani är en georgisk regissör, i år aktuell i festivalen med filmen Smak av Björnbär. Elene kommer även att delta i ett Meet the Filmmaker efter visningen 29 januari.

Charlotte Winberg, Finland
Charlotte Winberg is a Swedish-speaking freelance journalist based in Helsinki. She has a background in television and radio, as well as writing and photography. The focus of her journalistic work lies in the arts and storytelling. In addition to producing radio documentaries, she has worked as a film critic for the Finnish Broadcasting Company YLE.
Joel Spira, Sweden
Joel Spira got his education at the Malmö Theatre Academy. After appearing in plays such as The Jungle Book and The Brothers Lionheart, Spira made his breakthrough on the silver screen. His portrayal of Nippe in Easy Money (Snabba Cash) and its sequel brought him to fame in Sweden. His notable performances include Hinsehäxan, Thicker than Water (Tjockare än vatten), Josephine Bornebusch’s ORCA, and Bergman Island. In 2023, Spira stars in Shame on Dry Land (Syndabocken) with Christopher Wagelin, directed by Axel Petersén, continuing his career.
Kateryna Vyshnevska, Ukraine
Kateryna is an independent producer and consultant specialising in international co-productions. She recently served as Head of Development and Co-productions at FILM.UA (Ukraine). Her credits include award-winning TV series Those Who Stayed (co-produced with SVT, YLE and NRK), Citizen at War (UK/Ukraine/Australia) and Koza Nostra (Ukraine/Italy).
Vinca Wiedemann, Denmark
Vinca Wiedemann is an internationally esteemed script expert on TV series and films and Senior Advisor to the European Writers Club. She has been a creative producer and story supervisor at Zentropa, a film consultant at the Danish Film Institute, a founding Artistic Director of New Danish Screen and a Director of The National Film School of Denmark.
