Håkon commenced his film career as a runner on set, working his way up to become production manager through several Norwegian film and TV productions. When moving into the producing role he focused on development and financing of series, building both Nordic and international partnerships within distribution and co-production. Håkon was CEO of the company Monster Scripted for over a decade, while executive producing and/or producing series such as The Half Brother, Nobel, Young & Promising and Pörni, amongst others.
Håkon holds an MBA from NHH and has served on several industry related boards. Since 2022, Håkon has headed the Series team at Netflix in the Nordics.
