Nordisk Film & TV Fond in collaboration with Göteborg Film Festival present specially selected Nordic Talents projects. Three series are pitched at TV Drama Vision and four films at Nordic Film Market. Nordic Talents is the Fund’s annual event that builds bridges between experienced professionals and up-and-coming talents from the Nordics. In 2022 the Fund had a special focus on the 20-something generation. 

Presented Nordic Talents projects in 2022:

A Soviet Love Story (Sweden). Directed by Angelika Abramovitch, produced by Linus Andersson, Lampray. Sales: TBD.

1968 USSR- In the shadows of a cold Soviet Union this little, hot town Gurzuf is a mecca for youth, sex and rock music. Between smuggled Beatles records and handmade electric guitars there is a star to be born. It is a portrait of love in a unique golden age where this love does indeed concur all.


The last untouched wilderness (Finland). Directed by Kirsikka Paakkinen. Production and Sales: TBD.

Mining industry, necessary and inevitable, yet destructive, is the biggest threat for Lapland’s wilderness. Its questionable, toxic glow radiates over the land, especially a remote area known as Sokli, where a mine is being planned. What if the last untouched wilderness is lost? – An essay film about a place in the wilderness and its right to exist.


The Great Unknown (Denmark). Directed by Charlotte Brodthagen, produced by Sophie D’Souza and Anne Falkesgaard, Zentropa. Sales: TrustNordisk.

Lui (28) returns home to find her ball-of-fire mom terminally ill. Powerless, Lui turns to one last resort: reuniting her long-lost flamboyant grandmother and her mom. The three women are forced to face death, life, and each other in this bittersweet dramedy about learning to own your feelings.


Lovette (Sweden). Produced by Hawa Sanneh and Jimm Garbis, Gambio Film. Sales: TBD.

A mysterious young woman drifts along The Gambian beach, hunting and murdering white european sex tourists in order to fulful an ancient prophecy. Lovette is a surrealistic revenge thriller that challenges the intersection of race and gender. Winner of Nordic Talents Pitch Prize 2021.
