Uimonen is an entertainment journalist and a voting member of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association. After starting her career in Finland in the early 90s, she moved to LA a decade later. She has been a member of the HFPA since 2011, on its TV committee over four years and a board member for one year. She is also producing the HFPA in Conversation Podcast series for the goldenglobes.com website.
